Overview: BeAfrica stemmed from a creative passion of founder Tiffany’s for African-inspired accessories and her major talents with a sewing machine. Raised as an African American woman in central Denver, she’s seen a rapid decline in brands celebrating the African culture and roots of many Colorado locals. BeAfrica offers women’s accessories and will grow into mens accessories and home accents.
Intention: To partner with Tiffany and take a deep dive into the brand’s meaning, identifiers, target market, and the delicious details this brand will offer its customers, from customer care, product packaging, and the goods themselves. Once this brand was identified and established, we were to collaborate on opening the online shop, develop marketing tactics, write all branded copy for online listings, and order branded packaging and marketing goods.
Outcome: AG worked closely with founder, Tiffany, and her long-time friend and graphic designer to create beautiful brand assets to be used in the online shop and packaging goods. A mini brand audit, including market research and persona development, was conducted, to identify the heart and soul of the business and how/where to communicate it to those target customers. Marketing tactics and promotions were created to help launch this business into the big leagues.
